I'm glad Mayura didn't hear me drop that, but that's extremely irritating. That was china, and now the tea set doesn't match.

Apparently some people have gotten carried away with their powers. I'm assuming you had nothing to do with it, Heimdall.

And speaking of getting carried away... That Christopher boy has his horns back, and has already brought about some mayhem in such a short time... Seems like such a waste.

I'm certainly not interested in reopening that case.

Well, Mayura, even if it was just to keep you away from danger during that curse day... I did make you a promise, didn't I. ~~I really shouldn't keep it.~~

As amusing as your ~~failures~~ attempts at slaying me are, I suggest a truce.

They want something for our world, and while I'm still not sure if that visitor really was Hel or not, I wouldn't put it past her to have lied just to try and upset me somehow, ~~or keep me from sacrificing anything.~~ And if it wasn't her, then it was plainly a lie just for fun.

I'm certainly not eager to give up my life, but I can't see I want to see Asgard go, even if I'll never return. Midgard also needs to stay in tact if Mayura's going to return to her father, so... I suggest we both give up something of equal importance.

The case involving Joshua Christopher will have to be put on indefinite hiatus. Currently there are two events that seem to be creating utter chaos.

The one directly involving me is the missing hearts. Mayura still isn't back to normal. That boy from the opera house told me that there is currently no cure, but I wonder if I were to track down those responsible, would they return it?

Continuous attempts to capture her interest in something have ended in failure. To keep on trying is really a waste of my time, so I'm not sure why I should bother.

I doubt I can keep it from Heimdall for very much longer, but I'll have to hope he doesn't choose to take advantage of the situation.

Mayura, there are dinosaurs. Don't you think that's quite a mystery?

Well, that didn't go quite as well as I'd planned it. All that really resulted was that I got hit over the head twice, bound and gagged, and had to sleep on a couch for nearly a week.

The couch, at least, was comfortable.

I did conclude that none of the 'death gods' are in alliance with Rosiel the angel. It seems to be more like a tentative truce, and one that could be broken at the drop of a hat.

But me being kidnapped had nothing much to do with Joshua at all. Rosiel himself doesn't interest me unless it gets me close to the boy. The evil I sense in him isn't his own... I don't know if it's borrowed power or just disconnected from his soul, but it interests me nonetheless. Even if I'm not on Midgard any longer, that doesn't mean I can slack.

Perhaps while the high-ranking angel is injured, from what I've heard, I can drop by and pay Joshua a visit. If I'm lucky, this time I won't be clobbered and bound...

Mayura, Reiya, did you miss me? Could someone put some tea on...?

After witnessing a few demolitions already, I don't think I should rule out that where we are staying could be in danger. Reiya, it would be best for us to relocate just in case. Perhaps we can go to the gardens. I hear they're beautiful despite the snow.

This might be a curse of some sort, and if so it's on a different level than making people spout poetry. But it could also just be a prank set by some local delinquents...
